Mine works just fine!!! maybe its a setting your side?

still no go...

Thought I would remove my old ADSL router that I am using just for my internal LAN now (before I really embarass myself :o ).. Still no go.
My Ethernet IP is 169.254.174.27 with subnet of 255.255.0.0 and the PPP connection , subnet is 255- 255, IP address for the mountain is 41.245.88.26 (gateway is the same).
The connection seems to work 100% for all sites worldwide but for two addresses. The one mentioned in this thread and Vodacom4me.I can get to the Vodacom site but trying to login it tells me it cant find the file to down load for login in. This works 100% with my 3G card and may have nothing to do with the problem we are discussing.
It may well be a setting but I cant seem to find it:confused:
cheers

Go to your ethernet connection and set it up as follows using a static IP, then try to connect to the WiMAX cpe...

IP Address : 192.168.254.1
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : leave blank
DNS Servers : leave blank.

You should then be able to ping the WiMAX cpe as well as connect to it using
IP 192.168.254.251 and http://192.168.254.251 respectively
