Sim swap on cell c

Please help I need to do sim swap on cell ..I lost my simcard nd I ddnt wanna show on the phone. I bought new cell C simcard so what do I do?

Do you have a non RICA registered SIM card? If so, please PM the RICA serial number, an alternative contact to reach you on and the number to be swapped.

Rica serial no: 021451988951. Alternative number: 0603659744
 
The SIM card is registered. You need to purchase a non-registered SIM card and do not RICA it.

How does one do that? Checkers insists that all sim cards must be RICA'd and they can't sell them without doing it.
 
Try Truworths.

Had the same issue today (all the Cell C stores in Bloem have closed it seems) and Truworths were the only place willing to sell me an un-RICA’d SIM.

That is a Major problem i had the same experience a few years ago. The cellular companies must fix this as the card does not belong to them it belongs to the supplier...
