Sim swap please help

I've been using this sim since early this year with my WIFI modem, never used with a phone. I recently loaded 200gig (R1999) on it and the sim stop working few days ago, I've tried to call and explain this to cellc customer line but it seems they didn't understand me because they ask me to wait for 3 hours. i tried calling again but they adviced me to do a sim swap but I couldn't give them all the details they wanted from me. I need help please.

Your SIM card could be damaged. Please purchase a new Cell C unregistered SIM card and PM us your contact details, we will assist you with the SIM swap.
