sim swop (microsim)

I went in yesterday to do a sim swop to a microsim. (CellC to CellC)

How long does a sim swop usually take? Since i went out of the store I havn't been able to use either fo the 2 sims.

When I did it they said they were offline...they said their internet was down (not very reassuring).
It took about 4 hours to be active.
 
Do I need to do anything special, before it can activate?

I thought they did everything in the store but now I'm not sure cause i'm still waiting. I can't call any of the *xxx* codes cause it says I have "NO SERVICE".

just cut your sim, i cut one sim my self, and the other @ autopage they had a press that cuts it for you.
 
Thanks Mr Feesh, but I already bought the microsim and I didn't know if my old sim would work.
