Simaltaneous connections on one account

Hi

If I have two UTD and one user account can I dial up from both of them at the same time like with ADSL? I have emailed the iBurst helpdesk and they say I have to have two accounts however I've read on forums its possible to have simaltaneous connections on one account. I need to know if it works before I buy another modem. Has anybody ever done this?

I would just get a router, assuming that both pc's are in the same place. Thats how i use my Iburst connection to connect all my pc's. :)

I have one utd 4 pc's and a little gigabyte wireless router. Works like a bomb for me :)

Each UTD or UTC has a unique code. That code is connected to your account. Even if you had 2 accounts you cannot swap the UTD's. Each UTD is code/account specific.
 
You can share your subscription between a maximum of 2 devices. Go ahead and buy a second UTD on the same account.
 
Are you shure about this 8321? I'm quite shure its possible, but then why dont WBS even advertise it somewhere or mention it in the specs of Iburst?

That is pretty usefull for having one UTD with a ant. at home and a UTC for work/travel.
 
Hi all

JustConnect is a WBS/Sentech/ADSL/Anything that connects you to the internet agent. Basically I can answer with 100% certainty that what you have asked about is possible BUT only 2 devices can be registered on the account. And of course both devices will use up your bandwidth faster than 1 would. However, what I am not too sure about is if you are a customer of IBurst direct (ie instead of through an agent), they may be unwilling to add 2 UTD's to your account. I doubt that but I have never tested this so cannot answer either way. We have a number of our customers who use 2 devices Eg a UTD and a UTC and BOTH can connect on the same account at the same time.

Both UTID's must be assigned to the account though first.
