Hey guys.

Can anyone suggest a little app for sharing files over the internet?

We don't want FTP or file sharing via MSN or an IM protocol, mainly we're looking for something simpler, basically, you start the app, log in somehow and drag and drop a file to be sent to a client over the internet.

It must also support resuming files.

Sounds like FTP to me. :D

Well we're using FTP at the moment, but to guide clients into using an FTP client is a bitch. Windows Explorer can do FTP but very badly and doesn't (if I recall correctly) support resuming.

We're kinda looking for drag 'n drop easy.

i second hamachi - sounds like the best option for what you want

Why not just set up a web based ftp site for your clients to use. The more savvy ones could use a stand alone app.

That's a good idea.

At the moment I'm looking into FTP plugin for IE. I know IE has built-in FTP support but I don't think it resumes on uploads.

hmmm... just use a peer to peer, on some you can have friends with it and you can share stuff directly through it, it's pretty simple and i think its faster then msn and stuff

Not for large coprorate financial databases :)

box.net

I use box.net to store and share my files. I can store 1GB of any kind of files for free and share them privately or publicly.

Does this support upload resuming aswell as download resuming?

Upping a 200Mb file can be a biatch!
