So i purchased one of these new decoders less than a month ago and everything was 100s up until monday.
Got home from work and realised that i wasn't getting any picture/display from the dstv decoder and proceeded with the following.
Hard Reset
Different HDMI ports
Different HDMI cables
Tried on another TV
Another power supply
I'm not even getting the DSTV logo on bootup...... NIKS NADA FROGALL!!!
I eventually called Multichoice and they were unable to assist, asking for error codes.... How am i supposed to see an error code if i'm looking at a blank screen (and yes the tv was on).
They then told me to take it to one of their agents and guess what..... it worked perfectly fine by them.
Got home to test it and BAM no picture again, tried my old SD decoder to check if i get anything and yes that works......
Anyone experienced this or something similar? HELP/Assistance please.
