Sinotec 49' smart+ tv playstore setup

Hello I just bought a sinotec smart tv but cant get playstore to work i cant find it on the pre installed app list. I manually installed playstore as well as play services still nothing.

Does it have a browser? Go to apkmirror.com and get what you want, that way.

I did but it won't launch the store all I get is a white screen

I also got one of these sinotech things and im frustrated as hell because i cant find the playstore.
was promised in store that i can get dstv now, netflix , youtube etc ... but i cant find a damn thing. If i cant figure it out by today ... its going straight back.

I think I am going to give sinotec a call and see what they say. Btw you can can just side load apk filed that how I got Netflix and kodi.

Netflix works but youtube tells me I need to get Google services which doesn't seem to work

will do the netflix , but would love the youtube thing to work ... maybe sinotec has some trick.

Will let you know if I find out but for now I am using kodi for youtube.

Had a chat with the guys over at sinotec and the tv does not support Google play services so any Google owned product won't work. They are trying to resolve this but for now if you know a way to froce it to work you can try

So for youtube its kodi plus add-on.
Netflix app works.

How about showmax and dstv now?

confirming DSTV now app , netflix work perfectly after sideload.

Youtubing through browser. no issues.

One question ... do sideloaded apps auto update? or must we manually update every time a new version gets released?
