Hi Everyone.. I just bought this TV.. (SINOTEC 49IN(124CM) SMART FULL HD LED TV 49E3001M)
I was told Netflix is included, but its NOT. Please can someone help? We need Netflix and DSTV. If this TV is DUMB. Should I rather take it back and go with "HISENSE 49" (125 cm) Smart Full HD LED TV". I am looking for the more convenient option here?

Does it have google browser?
If the sales person told you it comes with Netflix and it doesn't state Netflix on the box then take back.
Or sideload the play services and playstore. Sometimes the playstore and playservices won't work because they need to be a system app, to that you have to root the TV(use kingo root, which only requires you to click onetime), then you will have to convert the playstore and playservices to a system app.
Once you done you need to delete superuser and then the kingo root app.
I'm not sure what the browser is called, But we can get to google by entering the webpage, www.google.co.za
Whose the retailer so I can check if there's anything better but in the meantime take Hisense and also include an android TV box for DStv now
I got it from Hifi corp, But they can give me a full refund.. Our Price Range is 5k-6k. It doesn't have to be a smart tv, We are looking at getting an android TV box, as it supports all the apps.
Ok so the hisense is the one, do you have an idea what box you going to get, an android based or android TV one

The Telkom Lit box is better and costs R1099, it has Android tv so it easier to just use the remote. It doesn't have Netflix but your TV has Netflix already

Ok i braught a sinotec smart tv and was blessed with savarie browser so what i did i went in to savarie and installed us browser installed it and feom there i downloaded crome brower and android playstore facebook netflix and my games i have on my note 8 wil try and do twitter and youtube exe later today hope this helps

The comments so far seem mixed, but it does seem to have and do everything I want.
APKPure.apk sounds neat if there is still a google problem.
Question: Can I set it so that on startup it automatically shows TV and not the Smart Android screen?
Does anybody have a pdf of the manual for me please, cannot find any online.
I am really after the Smart side, so does not need to be this exact model.
