Well, that's just according to official salary figures. Count in the bribes, kickbacks, and lucrative tenders redirected to family members' or their own personal private companies, and the picture looks very, very different.
Also, in a company you underperform and you're ousted by the board. No more salary. As the president, even if you're somehow extricated from the post before the term is up, you continue to collect that salary for life, like supreme-court justices. That's a pretty monumental difference right there.
