SIU after Eskom corruption masterminds

The Special Investigating Unit is expanding its investigations at Eskom as it searches for the masterminds behind corruption at the power utility.
Yea, like the arrest of an Escum project manager who received a whole R25,000.00 kickback! What about the billions being made by the "masterminds"

This means nothing. These masterminds are untouchable. This is just to fool the people and the world creating a narrative that the ANC is still in control of the country and crime. It is not. The ANC is merely a pawn in this, so is any institution, like the SIU working for the State.

What have they delivered to date? My guess, nothing. They’re just expanding the process to excuse the lack of any major breakthroughs.

They have delivered R4bn that was stolen from Eskom as of December 2022.

And mind you they are not only working on Eskom, they have state capture cases dating all the way back to Zuma, Covid corruption and al the other SOE corruption,.

Wait....did Eskom, government, and the newly minted Minister of "Electricity" not say the claims of corruption were made up by the failed Andre de Ridder to cover for his lack of delivery???

What gives???

How many people have gone to jail?

How many people have gone to jail?
SIU, their job is to recover state money looted through corruption, not to put people in jail, we need to judge every state agency in relation to their mandate, and the SIU is currently the only shining light in the fight against corruption

Perhaps what you are looking for is the NPA, whose sole purpose is to put people in jail.

WHy look or is it smoke and mirrors?

Pravin and fatso and their families are the heads that must roll then work downwards.

Perhaps what I'm looking for is government to act against all of those involvedwith actual consequences and not just recovering some of what was stolen.

Surely that can be done without dragging down the one state agency that is performing well? Giving credit on the work the SIU is doing is not giving the whole state a free pass, it is simply acknowledging that we are getting something right.

I'll give them credit when credits due. Imho they have a long way to go - but we can revisit when a syndicate is behind bars.
