Skype for Asterisk Beta (free download)

In case people missed the announcement, Digium have released the beta of the official Skype Channel driver.

This driver is officially endorsed by Skype, wonder what the pricing will be for it when its released as stable.

The single free one works well with asterisk.

I've used SIPtoSIS and wasn't impressed. Problem with SIP to SIS is that it requires the Skype client, so its not a native Asterisk channel but a bridge relying on multiple differant aspects ie Asterisk / SIPtoSIS and Skype.

Where as the Digium official Skype channel driver is a standard channel in Asterisk and its officially endorsed by Skype which means it will always work whenever Skype make changes.
