What does this have that the Mi box doesn't have?

is the device android certified?

Probably. But I find it strange that they preload DStv now and Showmax. Then the device does not officially support Netflix.
Specs etc look good. But it's a no go for me.

I also just bought one with some eBucks to play around with.

Will probably resell it at some point as I doubt it will replace my Shield, although the remote looks nicer than the Shield one :D

Surely unwanted apps can be deleted.

The best Android TV operating system box is the one that is the cheapest if Netflix ease of use is not a priority.

Because it looks like it's endorsed by DStv. Would love to see how Kodi and all the add ons run on this box.
But, I mean it's just an app?
Like you buy it with YouTube?

Whether the app is in the store or already on the box, does it change anything for you?

Just curious.

No the firmware has been altered. I could be wrong, but it just looks fishy.

Retailers should just openly stock the Shield and MiBox and stop wasting peoples time :)

Anyyyyways skipping this that’s for sure.
