So I went for a new contract (HTC Desire) and was approved and all that jazz. Anyway, I was told it would be 7-10 days, then I was phoned and told it would arrive this past Friday or by latest Tuesday this week. Of course none of that transpired and I phoned customer care, what a joke. On hold for an hour with no joy, so I did the phone back option. They phoned about 2 hours later and as I gave them the Ref number, the idiot could be heard having a good laugh at something in the background and wham, put the phone down on me.

Is this now standard service from Vodacom? Pathetic if you ask me.

I have now made a total of 11 calls to 082 1945, 082 1950 and 082 1955 and I either hold for 60 minutes (yes, shockingly an hour) or request a callback that gets cut off about a minute in.
