I read the link....
With the possible risks to stomache mentioned = I think it is a bad idea unless you are 150+kg over weight...

But don't your stomach shrink as soon as you start eating less?

:D I was just going to ask whether he has to go for a second op as his stomach shrinks. I watched a tv show where this lady had to go and get the band tightened cos her stomach had gotten smaller.

Banding will leave you with with so much excess skin you'll look like an anorexic elephant within a year. Now imagine having to scoop all those folds of skin from your tummy up and over your trouser waistline.
Then there's the under arms and the back of your legs and bum. You wont't need those bat man suits if you go jumping off high places as you'll have your own sails.
Better start budgeting for a series of excess skin removal surgeries.
But on the plus side the fat will fall away, just not the way you imagined.

Wtf, why are people even tuning this? Surely people dont just go under the knife for this op lightly? Generally a life threatening point in a persons life forces them to reassess and opt for this. Excess skin is not quite as bad as it sounds when the choice is either this, obesity or death.

I'm tuning because surely you should've realized long before you needed this op that you need to make a plan.

Either you two have big bellies or small dicks. Or maybe both.

With that being said

You'd be surprised . I read somewhere that in the UK the overburdened NHS were all but solicting patients for gastric band surgery. Next day appointments, etc unbelievable. They seem to think the obesity problem is getting out of control and by banding the barrel now will prevent expensive complications down the line.

Evey morning in the shower the view gets better for these people. It's like the unveiling of a masterpiece of a sausage.
