Hi guys, I have a question regarding SLI -

Can you SLI two different GPU's on a board (if they are both Nvidia - I am not talking going SLI with one Nvidia and one ATI)

For instance 1 X GTS450 and 1 X GTS250 - would you be able to SLI them?

Yes, but only if your motherboard has a Lucid Hydra chip on it. Otherwise the best you can get out of it is a Physx card

You can combine them, but you'd be better off punching yourself in the face, since you'll often get worse performance than with a single card.

Lucid Hydra is the biggest pos marketing bs ever.
