Slow speeds today?

Been trying to download a patch for LotR online. Got half way earlier on a fairly constant 40kb/s before my cap ran out (go figure) so I came home, bought a new 1gig and for the last few hours I can't get a speed above 10-15kb/s!

I'm on 512kb WA unshaped, Cape Town Constantia. And I'm pissed

Anyone else having trouble this afternoon?

Terrible speeds here in GP as well since about 14:00 this afternoon.
I can't even get the weather radar images off www.weathersa.co.za.

PS : I'm using SAIX.

Probably related to the weather. I usually get poor ADSL performance after it rains. The Telkom local loop is really starting to fall apart.

It rained for a few days here as well. Must say it was slower later in the day
