I use my old router (ASUS RT-AC57U AC1200) as an access point hard wired to my new router (Xiaomi Mi AIoT Router AC2350).

My upload speed is almost zero when connected to the Asus.
Any advice would be appreciated.

So the Asus is connected from the LAN port (not the WAN) to the LAN of the Mi and set up as an AP?

If so its almost like an extreme case of interference, and can you turn the wifi on the Mi off, and do the speed test to the Asus again to see what happens.

Thanks.
I tried both LAN and WAN ports - get same result.
It also makes no difference if I disable wifi on the Mi.

Honestly I didnt think it could be interference, but you ruled out a couple potentials. All I can think is there must be some queue, or firewall restriction on either the Asus limiting you, or the Mi limiting the Asus. There should not be anything by default so I have no idea, sorry. If you have another AP, or can borrow one, plug it in to the Mi LAN and see if you get the same anomaly. At least then you know which device is responsible.
