I've also noticed that GMail is quite sluggish lately. I've used it on various different computers at various locations (MWEB and non-MWEB), so it must be a problem unrelated to MWEB specifically. Some searching revealed a report from Google that 0.022% (or something) of their users were experiencing slow performance. Their Apps Dashboard shows that GMail is running normally; that's definitely not been the case for me over the last few days.

Edit: The Apps Dashboard indicates Google is looking into some unspecified problem with GMail again today.

Well who ever FNB Connect go through I have no issue with but my MWeb has issues, and I sick of being told "it could be from Telkom's exchange". If it was the exchange the my FNB would do the same, but this is not the case. Honestly after such latency this weekend I might look at going with a different ISP, or I'll prolly have to replace my LCD as it will have a hole punched through it...
 
timing out and connection dropping my side. my router stats showing SNR of <4 (4Mbs unshapped Afrihost connection), snr normally sits around 10-12 at 4Mbps
 
I have Teamspeak, Online Gaming and downloads but no Webpages on Mweb at all :wtf:
 
I have been running ping's to co.za & Yahoo to see if the prob sits on my line, co.za runs at 14ms no packet loss choke etc. To Yahoo I have 14% packet loss and occasional spikes in latency. If possible could a MWeb support engineer PM me to help resolve this issue cos clearly it has nothing to do with my line. I also phone Telkom this morning and got them to reset my port, I can supply tracert's and pings if you need them.

Mweb is sluggish today, even on local, hope this is temporary and that it improves later tonight.
 
its on MWeb side...I have a WA backup account, and its 100% fine atm. I just played WoW with 200ms latency on it. It was impossible to play on the MWeb account. see my post in gaming thread.

I have a feeling it has something to do with their firewalling or routing I noticed in WoW my home latency (the latency to the battlenet services, auctions, chat etc.) is low around 250ms) however my world latency (the actual game latency such us players around you, damaged received or done etc.) sits at around 700+, this is not all the time though it seems to be a bottleneck on those ports or something. I think the ports that the world latency uses is getting loss or choke from something on their systems.
