Smart Alarm System Connected to Blue Security

Hi

Does anybody have a "smart" home alarm system that will still connect with the current security company for armed response. I am with Blue Security and would like to look into this, I am connected via a radio link.
 
I have been looking for the same thing also.
Your best bet would be a standard alarm system with "Smart" integration into something like Home Assistant.

I came across the DSC Keybus Interface which works well with a few DSC Alarm panels which we can get here in SA.
 
They do say it works on IDS but not sure which models. Recently done on my home Paradox Mg5050 and office DSC. Can arm/disarm remotely, works with existing partitions, shows which zones were activated at what times and records these and alerts on arm, disarm and alarm being triggered. Also can bypass zones remotely.

how much was it and is there a monthly cost?
 
There is a monthly cellular fee but have not had it a month yet. R1 250 was the once off charge DSC and the Paradox one was slightly cheaper.

Have anyone tried this?

Looking at a new alarm system for new house.
Think the DSC PowerSeries PC1864 looks like the best option and then add this on to that using a NodeMCU esp8266 which means wireless from the alarm system and it can run off the alarm system power. This should be a fairly robust system using the above DSC Keybus Interface software.
 
Just 2c, recently had my paradox installed and my installer migrated my radio from the old system to the new. Works exactly the same, panel sends the message and the response gets the notifications.

Got the IP50 module installed, the system works like a charm.

The installer was a private contractor here in Durban that has done work for a relative's security company. Also did his home and I got him to now do mine. Can PM you his name and number if you in durbs?

Model of alarm? It's a Magellan MG5050 with IP module and extras.
