Smart TVs with DVB-T2

Now that SABC is advertising the DTV switch-over, are there any Samrt TVs with DVB-T2 tuners, or is the only way to get it with a set top box? Also is anyone using a DVB-T2 tuner card with Windows Media Center?

I bought one a few months back. It worked perfectly until sentech changed something and now I'm unable to get the channel list and as a result the decoder does not want to view the channels. a Friend of mine that has a dvb-t2 card in his pc is still able to view the channels.

Maybe you will have better luck. I will keep an eye out for your feedback.

I'm in Cape Town pointing to the Tygerberg sentech tower and recieving the signal on 610Mhz with full signal quaility.

I'm not sure which formats it supports but a have tested it with usb drive and was able to open and play videos.

Im in the Michells Plain Area. Are you on the WUG? Tell me do you have the same decoder I have?

Yep I'm on the wug.

I have exactly the same decoder bought it from ebay.

I'm unable to find any software upgrade for the device. If you know where to find it please let me know!

EDIT: The firmware mine was shipped with is in beta!?
 
It could also be that Sentech switched off your decoder remotely. I will check if mine works tonight and let you know.

Regarding the software. Geez man. these boxes don't even have a manufacturer name.
 
Okay. So mine is working. Only channel that playing properly is Tshwana TV all the others are choppy and loses signal. I am using an outside aerial. Any advice to pick up the signal better? I have a huge Sand Dune direction of Tygerberg. Constancia is somewhat in line of sight but also not a good direction to point.
