Sales of smartphones grew at their slowest in the last quarter of 2008.

Face it - it is easier to work on a laptop or PC than doing your work on a smartphone.

Trust me, I've tried it, it's just too small. (from working with the LG KS360).

For SMSing, the occasional web browsing and games it will do fine, but for writing Word documents and the such... no way Jose.

And expensive to boot.

Just got me Nokia 5800 yesterday

I won't be using it for "business" reasons. Just call, sms, email etc.

And being a self proclaimed geek...I like the new toy

gotta say, wouldn't trade my xperia for anything.

but in this economic climate, it's no wonder that sales on expensive phones are slow.

The reason for the slow sales is because most people already have N96's and 5800's so what is the use of buying something new??

well technically its been marketed as a music orientated phone so to be calling it a smart phone is quite a complement.. but i get your point!

i'll be getting mine on monday, i waited till autopage was out of stock befor ordering, so as to make sure i get one from the new batch that doesnt have the earpiece problem...

two weeks ago they told me the 5800 was available, i said i'll get back to them, when i spoke to them yesterday they were out ot stock. so the 5800's really flew!!
