Well said Captain!

"It was very frustrating out there. I was doing a lot of talking to the referee to try and understand what he was thinking but I wasn't getting answers.

"All any team wants is consistency, but it has really felt to us like we've been refereed differently to the second tier nations we have played in the last three matches," said Smit.

"There were high tackles that again went unpunished and there was a lot of spoiling going on at the breakdown. It makes it tough because if we react we get penalised."

Yes - well said!! I think we're seeing the true worth of John as Captain at this WC.

Damn straight! It's getting out of hand, and nobody seems to be willing to do anything about it. I wouldn't be surprised if these clowns hand him a disciplinary hearing for simply stating the obvious.

Did you see him talking to the Boks behind the poles after the 2 quickfire tries.
He was almost laughing while he was talking to them and organising the last 20.

I noticed that and it calmed ME down! lol

gotta to say the reffering hasn’t been particularly good but as the game gets quicker the refs need technology to help them make crucial decisions. the all blacks have gotta feel aggrieved losing a quarter final on the back of a forward pass and all the commentators could say was 'it happens", I mean do me a favour, there's people's jobs and careers on the line and it's simply not good enough..

Sa too could have lost the game after a blatant forward pass wasnt picked up. thank f...k for JP is all i can say...

What refs, I have not seen any refs in this quarterfinal's over the weekend. They were all just fsucking pathetic OR maybe under some IRB instructions. Why would all four be so terribly poor, with the same mistakes, we should ask!

and did you notice how in the last 5 minutes when we were camping on thier tryline after Schalk failed to get the pushover try from the scrum and Fourie knocked on just before dotting down the fijians flank was slapping them, there were 2 scuffles that broke out at that time and the ref was unsighted... I don't get it... Juan was penalized for a half hearted slap tackle on the fijian no 5 but 1st Schalk and then Danie get head high stiff arm tackles going for the try in the corner and no penalty!!! Ridiculous!!! I think the boks showed great restraint in not taking the law into thier own hands... ( or perhaps they were scared of the fijians...not...).

It showed remarkable discipline. We can moer them back but that wont get us the world cup.
They did very well indeed.

They've got technology - it's called linesmen! There are 3 ref in the current game and it's VERY surprising that all were unsighted at the high tackles.

What's more weird is that the replay is shown on the big screen surely the ref, or a linesman via a ref, can ask the tmo to take a look?

one would think so yes but it seems more acceptable to relegate a team to the also rans rather then show some initiative and make the right call...
