Smoothies

My favs are frozen banana, Greek yogurt, milk, raw honey, crushed almonds and vanilla extract. Make a yummy combo. You can add peanut butter or Choc chips if you like too.

Another is plums (those lovely red juice ones, guava juice, cucumber that's been peeled and seeded, pineapple, apples and ice. Very tasty convo.

Yeah, super great idea that - dipping the glass rim itself into nutella. Not the dumbest idea in the world at all!

And that's not a smoothie, that's a milkshake. Great research work, omniblend.

Has anybody bought a Nutribullet yet?

They're on special for R1 800 from Takealot.

If you add milk or ice-cream, it becomes a milk-shake or a fruit-shake - not a smoothie.

half a handful of mixed raw nuts (macadamia, walnuts, almonds, pecan)
1 tea spoon instant coffee.
1 table spoon of organic/no sugar/no salt peanut butter.
handful of frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries)
Half a frozen banana (optional..depends if I feel like adding it or not at the time)
2 scoop ON Natural whey.
1 table spoon raw cocoa nibs (if available)
Handful or english spinach.
1 cold raw egg (yip..raw......)
+- 50-80ml water (depending on thickness required and amount of above ingredients

Blend like crazy in my Omni Blend until smooth and mousse like. YUM!!!
