So I have the firewall up and running (just waiting for the ethernet cables to become "in stock" again); and I want to add some functionality.

The firewall serves as an always on machine, and what I want to do is get some sort of utility to allow me to store (smallish) files on this machine somewhere, in such a way that I can access this file space from the local network, and also so that I can log in (using the built in Dynamic DNS) from, for example, RAU.

If I can get that working nicely, then I would like to eventually have a central store for all our media, and install a huge drive into the firewall for things like backups and so on.

How do I go about adding this to my smoothwall machine? Is it possible?

SCP is your friend

otherwise any linux app can be staticly linked and put on smoothwall
