Glad to hear the abuse address is finally fixed. I have resent my original message regarding the "RPC Dcom Buffer Overflow" Attempts coming from client machines on the Vodacom network.

Just tried now after hearing that abuse@vodacom.co.za is fixed and it is still not working.

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

abuse@vodacom.co.za

^%&*%, will follow up again. It was working a day ago....

[edit]

Just tested and it's working if I send a mail to abuse@vodacom.co.za.

Won't you retest and let me know, maybe something with mail relays?

Thanks,

When I send a mail to abuse from a Vodacom account it works, from another account (like you guys) it fails.

Have escalated.

That's just because you are internal to Vodacom and the mail is not leaving their network. I am quite certain when they finally do fix this address the flood gates will open.

Thanks V3G ... hope they get it right this time.

I'm a bit confused, we've always had an e-mail addr. you can use to log ANY kind of query.

'abuse' is just a specific mail ISP's normally create, so you don't need to go looking for the company specific call logging mail.
