SMS subscription services for MTN and Vodacom users

This reads more like an advert than an objective news article. Please explain which one it is! Advert or news article?
 
This thing will be a big headache and scam to both users and SP (Service Providers) it it's not monitor and regulate properly, since I know some SP will send you blank or normal sms like, 'want to go out tonight?' If you reply and you get automatically register to this service and money get's deduct from you account............And de-register is a mission....
 
How is this new? And why is it news at all?

It reads like an exact copy of a press release . . .
