I have a client that uses an old worldonline email address.

At home they use a CELLC 3G Woosh stick, as a result the smtp server used is CELLCs.

At work they need to use MWEB ADSL and as a result need to use MWEB's smtp server.

Obviously neither network will allow the others smtp servers to pass emails through them. As I can't have the client change the settings the whole time, I need away around this issue.

Creating another Outlook profile doesn't really help as it is a pop based email system, so emails would be missing between the two profiles etc.

Is there not another SMTP server I can use on both networks?

The Auth Mweb SMTP works regardless of connection. Forgot the details, but I've posted them like 4x on this forum already.

EDIT: Not sure whether it checks the FROM address field though for @mweb. I'm guessing it doesn't because of all the tiscali etc addr.

QUick fix... - Get your client to create a Gmail address, and then using their Gmail login details they can use Google's SMTP server from both networks.

Info:The ISPs only use IP-based verification unless using SMTP-AUTH

Options:
*Gmail smtp and gmail acc
*Put the email account on his profile twice, one with one SMTP,one with the other- He just has to select which account to send with when creating he mail

If the client uses GMAIL Accountant, will using their SMTP servers change the from address on the recipients emails?

*Account

You specify the From address, just make sure to use the gmail username and password in the SMTP authentication
