SMTP server blocking mail to aol ???

What's up with Telkom's smtp server ?

Receiving the following error: "server response 421 ... temp block on AOL mail"

!!!!

Why is Telkom blocking email to aol email addresses ???

Update - Telkom have confirmed that AOL is not accepting mail from Telkom.

Clearly Telkom has been blacklisted again !

Not necessarily. AOL are f**kholes to get mail to.
I had to jump through serious hoops to get them to accept mail from my mail server.

EDIT:
Like setting up SPF and making sure that RDNS was working etc etc etc.

Its now 4 days --- and STILL Telkom have not resolved the problem with AOL.

This is ridiculous !

Getting the same error message "temp block ......".I foned SAIX Technical Support on Fri and Spoke with a Guy called Neil.He said he it wasnt a SAIX problem and that their SMTP Server was fine.He said it most likely a temp block on the domain i was sending from.Didnt believe him though.

No. Telkom themselves are blocking the email from being sent via their smtp server in order to prevent user's emails from bouncing back from AOL.

I was told they were negotiating with AOL in order to have the block lifted on email originating from Telkom's SMTP server.
