I don't get these guys. I always find them in the most arbitrary places. Like under some stairs railing or high up some wall or just on some brick behind a gate. What are they doing? They just stick there, for hours or even days on end.

Where are they going? I understand that they don't have a home to get to so do they just wander about? What's their reasoning behind it? Do they just decide "okay, I'm just going to take a break and hang out here for the next few minutes or days"

Waiting for rain/humidity so that they don't dry out before the next meal.
