An investigation has been launched into the police killing of two suspected robbers during a hostage drama in Petrusburg in the Free State, the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) said on Thursday.

The ICD was investigating a case of death as a result of police action, spokesperson Moses Dlamini said in a statement.

Seems when you do too good a job...its not acceptable.:erm:

Is this not simply routine? Same as when you shoot someone in self defence a case gets opened against you but the state does not prosecute.

It is a standard thing.

As is it that if you kill someone in self defence ther will also be an investigation.

I'd be more concerned if there wasnt an investigation.
