Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible (and then also how) to gain access to the setup/phonebook of a snom 320 phone. The telephone is connected via a company network and then my laptop is connected via the network cable from the phone to my laptop. I have entered the IP address from the phone on my browser but no success.

I would like to import my outlook phonebook to the phone or at least be able to have the most important phone numbers on the phone.

I have google but could not find an answer. I know this is/should be a newbie question - but that is who I am wrt this phone.

you honestly just go to the phone's http://ipaddres and that is it...by default no passwords are set. if, however, the phones get their provisioning information pushed to them from a server then it is possible to pretty much disable anything you feel like to guard against casual tampering.

the snom wiki has pretty much any info you would require about these phones...

some outlook stuff here

I've setup a few of these phones and they are pretty good, if a bit weird to get your head around how they do things....but the wiki+support is excellent

Thanks Werner!

Hmmm. Casual tampering - I am those people that think that know something and then....

Will have a look at those wiki pages, have read through the manual previously without success.
