Morning gents, I have a weird question this morning.

So I have lived with my GF for about 4 years now and its been great, but about a year or a bit longer ago I started snoring like I was getting paid for it, and obviously that has had an effect on her sleep. I'm not sure what started it or what is causing it as I've never snored this badly, but now its gotten to a point where our spare room gets used more and more often :crylaugh:

So the question is, how does one combat this, does anyone have experience dealing with this or determining what to do? Is there surgery that can be done, something like the corrective eye surgery but for snoring?

I would appreciate any help :D

You drink alcohol in the evening?

Is your bed old?

The bed or the mattress? Mattress is old yes, we bought new pillows recently which didn't really make a difference.

I don't think its just the bed though, anywhere I fall asleep I snore, which leads to be promptly elbowed in the ribs in the movie cinema, which is a bit uncomfortable after the 3rd time

Are they too high to be measured?

Haha, I haven't measured my length since primary school, weight i've never worried about but i'm not overwieght, I didnt even know people measure neck circumference and blood pressure I've had tested but never knew the results or what they mean

OK, I'll assume normal then.
Do you struggle to stay awake during the day? Wake up tired? Are you a restless sleeper?
Has anyone ever told you that you stop breathing during the night?

Staying awake during the day is a science I've yet to master, I always feel tired and it always feels like if I close my eyes at work I won't wake up for a couple of days. Like I have no energy. But when i get home in the evenings I feel fine and I can game till whatever time in the night. I fall asleep quickly in the night though.

I think my girlfriend would be happy if I stop breathing during the night because I would stop snoring then. But no no one has ever told me that

What is your Weight, length, neck circumference?
Do you have high blood pressure?

Ummmmm I don't have any of those details

Here's some help with the only weird measurement. Those are shirt collar sizes on the left in inches -

You kinda should know your height, weight and blood pressure (get it taken like once a month at a Dischem or something).
