Snow Leopard: Mac's answer to Windows 7

An Apple Mac is like buying an Xbox or PS3, you could build a Gaming rig to game but the mac is an all in one solution and will be a bit more pricey just like console games.

Microsoft does not have an R&D department designing notebooks and PCs they just code ****, but thank goodness they don't build PCs..... don't wan't my PC to RROD on me.

Its a lot easier to code for specific hardware (Xbox, PS3 or Mac) than a whole variety of hardware (PC).

Well how can you ask why you should change from xp to windows 7, simple answer is try windows 7 and see for yourself.

You could be like peterch who will tell you windows 7 is rubbish without ever having used it but then how would you know if windows 7 is better than xp .

Thats something that still gets me about apple. Last time my work purchased a mac pro it was R11k for official apple ram. Pc server ram to the same specification that worked just as well: R3k. New motherboard after one in a G5 fried: 9k!!! That's my ultimate reason for using windows personally. Not so much to do with the actual OS. Also people are always going on about how much better their new shiny mac laptop performs compared to their old crummy pc laptop, and forget to mention the mac one was R10k more expensive. Obviously its got better specs and is going to perform well!

but thats the thing man, most of the even VERY expensive macs still only have like a 9400GS and stuff......

But for me? I still don't see why I should change off of XP for windows 7

been using Windoze7 for a while now on 64bit. works like a charm works with with all my hardware too.
