Snow Leopard sold out in SA...

Hmmm. I've just been told by sales at Digicape that no-one in the country has Snow Leopard, apparently for the last 2 months already, and it will only be arriving in a months time. Have been to the iStore at the V&A and Project 3 in Claremont, both sold out as well.

What the f__k? No wonder people resort to piracy.

Anyone know where I can buy it?
 
i have seen it at Incredible stores...they ususllay well stocked..i know that teh waterfront in CPT had on the weekend and Canal Walk two weeks ago

Haha thanks. Still have your other DVD. The reason I want to buy it is so that I have a disc around in case sh_t goes bad.

I checked at the incredible in cavendish, they had some in the store but said they were all opened already. I'll call the ones in V&A and CW to see if they have, thanks.

ToxicBunny, i think all the local online dealers have the same stock issue. If I don't come right this week i'll probably just use Take2 More... Nevermind, R357 from US and will take 15 to 25 days anyway. R434 from the UK. Blah.
 
Buy it online and in the mean time if you want I could mail you a copy or you could simply download the iso.

Don't have enough cap to download the ISO, so might as well get it from StellenboschStudent. You in Stell at the moment?

In the meantime I might as well just place an order through Digicape and see what happens.

Yeah most of the shops have the family pack, but since I only have one Mac and the actual licences mean next to nothing to me, I'm not keen to spend R200 more for what is essentially the same thing. Must say, every person I spoke to tried to sell me the family pack before I could even ask for the single user pack. Capitalism at it's finest.

I just came across two empty double layer dvd's while looking for some of my DVD's so if you get stuck just shout.

If You still looking for it we have plenty at the JHB stores. Just bought mine for R250.00

Just picked up Snow Leopard 10.6.3 at Project 3. They have quite a few copies on the shelf, so I assume the stock issues have been resolved.
