Another thing that bothers me, is that whenever I try to perform a tracert to tpr-route-server.saix.net, I get the following when I use my SAIX account:
Tracing route to tpr-route-server.saix.net [196.25.9.46]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 * * * Request timed out.
2 * * * Request timed out.
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 53 ms 52 ms 51 ms tpr-route-server.saix.net [196.25.9.46]
Trace complete.
And when I use my IS account, I get the following:
Tracing route to tpr-route-server.saix.net [196.25.9.46]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 * * * Request timed out.

Where I get in the 50ms range with a tracert test, they all get in the 20ms RANGE !!

This irritates me SOOOOO much I can scream !

and whats intresting is that we all have the same SAIX ISP.
It doesnt matter which local site or international site I do a tracert test to, IT NEVER shows the route info like it does with my IS account. My other friends all only have a SAIX account and it displays their route info correctly, why does mine show Request timeout each time ?
BTW, I am using Vista Ultimate 32-bit, but it was the same when I had XP as well.
Any thoughts ??
