Haven't had any rainy weather yet for the last couple of weeks, so no need for the water resistant gear yet. Thanks, will follow the advice when I have the cash. Water resistant gloves, pants and boots next.

In the other thread some said "everyone wants to kill you" - I found this to be true. Bakkies/Fortuners, pedestrians, dogs. The roads I travel is 80 km/h max and I do that easily but it seems its not fast enough. And cars sometimes force their way too close.

I love the R50.00 to fill my tank and it last around 1½ weeks. So about R200.00 p/m for 30km per day.

Don't forget to check your oil too, some scooters don't have a warning light.

Thanks for this reminder, topped it up yesterday. When I checked the dip stick oil was right on the tip of it.

Wind was playing around with me today, but still enjoying the scooter. Now it's starting to feel slow.

Just over 300km done. I wish more people would consider scooters/motorbikes, it's such a convenience.
