So i met this chick online

So i met this chick online, started of talking with a bang, really got along extremely well (yes we met), we talked nights away about everything and anything, in all honestly, a perfect match.

BUT

Then the topic of religion came up, and booth...bang....everything is messed up.
Although we get along extremely well, she cannot see a future for us because i don’t believe in the heavenly father and savior (bla bla bla), and a relationship is doomed to fail if both do not believe...., so or i start believing, or that’s the end of it.

What a load of ****, i mean honestly, what does it matter if I’m a atheist, a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim or a Hindus?, does it make someone a beter person?, If I’m a Christian will that automatically make me this glorious human being, and non believers, well we are categorized as the scum of the earth.... how can Christians have this attitude, if someone has a kind heart, and you get along like Bonny and Clyde, why must something stupid like religion mess it...., if you believe in “your” God, i honestly do not have a problem with that, go to church, read your bible, i won’t get in the way or complain, why must i be judged for not believing..... do other religions have this same attitude towards people not believing in their God?

Its common in most religions. I often hear about people having to convert to Judaism to marry someone or convert to x religion because their families/churches want it to be that way.

How do you mix water & oil? - You cannot. At the end of the day, human things revert to their beliefs to find meaning so such a fundemental difference between the two of you cannot be overlooked. Although my personal opinion is that she is being silly, I can appreciate where she is coming from. Perhaps she may have spent a bit too much time listening to pastors with interests to maintain.

This is where a some compromise could come in handy. Personally I'm a Jesus-lover, but I accept my way is not the only way. For that reason, I'd be willing to settle down with someone of a heeltemal anders religion/faith. Anything besides a satanist I guess lol.

Falling in love with a Muslim girl could be extremely complicated, regardless of your religion (unless you are Muslim).
You need the approval of her family and you have to convert to Islam.

People still think Christianity is about morality
You think because you're Christian you're morally good?
You think because you're Atheist you're morally good?
You think because you're Muslim, Budist, Hindu or whatever that it makes you morally good?
Nobody is good. Not a single person on this planet is good.

OP, find yourself a nice, moral atheist girlfriend. Problem solved

Guys are often more willing to compromise. Women tend to go batschit crazy, it's either their way or no way.

There's always honour killings.

Ever noticed how when these guys tell us they met someone online, they never specify where? The www is a wide wide place.

Would like to know as well.
Now she is insisting that we be friends -_-
My responses is usually that I have enough friends. Yours should be the same, along with telling her that you didn't join a dating site to meet friends.

Thats what i'm getting at, religion does not make you a better person, you are who you are, nothing can change who or what you are, besides yourself.

I don't care what anyone says. Based on this I believe visrot is not kitty-strangler.

Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on these moral codes.
No, but some may not be relevant to atheists. Like premarital sex. Do you really want a girlfriend who won't sleep with you until you're married?

It's not about being moral but beliefs.
For example, Christians believe that Christ is the only way to get to heaven.
Why would a Christian want to marry and have children with someone who doesn't follow Christ and isn't interested in teaching their children about Christ? Is she going to be like, oh well, my children will go to hell but that's ok, doesn't really matter...

That's pretty backwards and not many people even practise that anymore. Sexual compatibility is as important as emotional compatibility. Otherwise you wouldn't find so many so-called Christian people screwing around behind their partners backs later on. What's the bible's take on that? People are Christian or whatever religion when they want to be.
