I'm using MyWi. Mind you my handset is JB and I purchased the app from CydiaWhat software are you using on your iphone to create the hotspot?
The one thing that concerns me is the size of the device. I've been looking at 7" tablets like the Tab and the Nook Color and they seem like they'd fit my lifestyle more. Anyone care to speak to that?
I had my eye on the Archos 70 for a long time. 7" just seems like the perfect size. But going for a 10" makes the gap between Cell phone and PC closer. Where as getting a 7" would make me want to go buy a laptop after it also
No one too worried about the new one coming out early next year?
Would also love one but I think once it has a camera, it will make a lot more sense.
Simple, I carry bothI also have a new Macbook Pro, but I can't bring myself to loose my Blackberry to an iPhone. I just can't. I actually just bought the BB Bold over the iPhone 4. How did you manage that one bwana?![]()
Such as? I'm running 4.2 and loving it. what does jailbreaking this particular device offer me?Also got the wifi 16gb. When I take it out, I use my iPhone as a wifi hotspot.
The best thing about the IPad is the abundance of software available. Tried a few of the android tablets and have not found one as responsive as the IPad. Also JB the IPad opens it up other functionalities.
Only thing I need now is a good movie player. VLC does not seem to work correctly with 3.2.2. Anyone recommend a good movie player?

Interesting - what does it do differently?- True multi-tasking features
Lol, you just put petrol in a diesel.Having an apple system with the flexibility of Windows.![]()
If you look at IOS4, all apps are placed on pause mode if supported. I find that the dock starts getting congested with previously run apps and you need to physically remove it app or your battery will drain quickly.Interesting - what does it do differently?
Depends what you use your macbook for...As a result of getting the ipad I've now got a fairly redundant hackintosh netbook and may end up altering my plans of upgrading my 13".
Simple, I carry both![]()
Sorry, even I can't rock a man-bag.We're going to need a handbag one of these days! I also carry two phones, my BB and a R500 cheap 'o... Might just upgrade that to an iPhone 4... Maybe I should wait for the iPhone 4s?![]()
Thanks - I didnt realise I could remove them.If you look at IOS4, all apps are placed on pause mode if supported. I find that the dock starts getting congested with previously run apps and you need to physically remove it app or your battery will drain quickly.
