115kg. 2kg down but my clothes feel so much loser? I feel/felt good but now I'm all depressed about it.

Been meaning to hit the beach the last 2 days but didn't even move out of the room :( I have no idea what to do. I really want to lose another 5-8kg before the 6th of June.

Any tips?

cut out fizz drinks, no coke, no chips as a start ... of course with some cardio exercise as well. there is no quick fix unfortunately

all fiz drinks have been cut. and if I drink fiz stuff then I usually go for diet pepsie. eating 3 squares a day with veggies, switched to fibre bran last week.

Once a week I'll get a small meal like burger king or pizza hut, not much or supersized or anything. I try to climb 7-12 flights of stairs for cardio

Should step it up a notch I think, im just REALLY depressed that I feel like I've lost but the scale says different. I weighed myself at night tho, they say best time is in the morning for a true indication of weight...

Anyone with a diet regiment I could follow for 2 weeks? I'm not looking for something to cut out carbs that will give temporary weight loss

muesli, fruit, yogurt ... nothing fried at all period, no oil in any food made, everything grilled ... no fizzy drinks period not even a pepsi lite, this is pretty much what my sister did and she lost weight very quickly (not that she needed to) ... but i ain't no guru on this, so someone else will give better advice on this ... with any cardio workout only after 45min or was it 30min or was it 60min (cant recall), that your body actually starts "burning" fat

okay maybe climbing 22 flights of stairs up and down twice would give me that 40 minute line.

I tell you my legs are already a bit stronger, but climbing... by flight 7 my heart is pounding and my legs are all wobbly.

Trying to find a gym closeby. I'm sure the beach residence has to have a gym.... want to start my weight training again

Man, dude, you nearly weight 2X me. i'm 60kg.

lol.

Remember muscle weighs more than fat so concentrate more on how those clothes feel and less on what the scales say... even better rather use a tape measure than a scale!

Take these two comments as truth ....... that's what will work. Speaking from experience ...... lost 30kg's in 3 months and because I was swimming and doing an hour of weights/cardio every second day .... no flabby skin. PM me if you want more detailed shiz bru :D

Don't get discouraged Acid. Any progress is progress, even if its just 0.5kg.

Stick to 3 meals & nothing in between. No food after 9pm. Instead of snacks, rather make yourself a cup of tea. (Tea can do that)

Ideally breakfast should be the biggest of the 3 meals.

Lose the diet Pepsi asap. Newest studies indicate that it is harming weight loss attempts.

If you can, walk around for a few blocks per day. No need to run around like a crazy jogger, just chilled casual stroll.

Make sure you drink enough water & take the occasional MultiVit to ensure that you're not missing out on something your body really needs.

It's actually recommended to eat 6 smaller meals through the day (which includes span fruit) ........ but the after 9pm thing is true.

Ha ha we seem to be agreeing with each other a lot recently, must be the Shark's fault! :)

But I was also going to comment on the recommendation of three meals a day, as I too have often heard it is better to eat more smaller meals each day... but obviously make those small meals healthy stuff!

This is basically what I ate the last week:

High Fibre Bran / Meusli for breakfast
Roasted Veggies + Turkey + Cheese sandwich (I vary it at the coffee shop, sometimes only do chicken tikka or tuna + cheese or fruit salad)
Night I have toast with baked beans or toast and creamed corn or toast with fish fingers. (Bread is full grain)

I had pizza hut once. (half the size of debonairs small pizza) and pepsi light. (ye ye, I'll stop that ****)

I drink 12-18 glasses of water a day during the day (small cups, like 200ml) except for weekends (no water cooler here and its not recommended drinking the tap water in dubai because of stained teeth)

At night (usually about 2 hours before I go to bed) I drink my multivit. USN's animal pack (neat little packages for daily use, comes in a tin) with 7up zero. (Will stop the fizzy drinks, will buy some bottled water instead)

I should try doing more exersize (well for longer periods) used to do 40min walk everyday before I moved from the Palm to JBR.

Sounds like a good plan overall. If you can, try to boost the *fresh* veg intake & reduce cheese.

Be careful not to overdo it though. Better to lose weight gradually than to mission into an unmaintainable diet & then give up.

Giving up isn't an option ;)

After my depressive stint over the weekend (Sunday being a work day) I decided I should try a pair of pants I know is too small for me. Size 36 (whatever that is). I'm pleased to announce that I can with (some, but not much) effort actually get the button on the waist to lock into place :) a few weeks ago I couldn't. I can get two fingers in there but its a squeeze still, and I suspect if I have a pee it would start pushing. But... I'm in a size 36 fully buttoned and zipped up with no discomfort!

Thats down from a 40 or 38.

Is that good? Still have a boep though :( if I relax it it hangs over my pants but if I suck it in it doesn't (which it used to I think)
