So I Weighed myself

After my depressive stint over the weekend (Sunday being a work day) I decided I should try a pair of pants I know is too small for me. Size 36 (whatever that is). I'm pleased to announce that I can with (some, but not much) effort actually get the button on the waist to lock into place :) a few weeks ago I couldn't. I can get two fingers in there but its a squeeze still, and I suspect if I have a pee it would start pushing. But... I'm in a size 36 fully buttoned and zipped up with no discomfort!

Thats down from a 40 or 38.

Is that good? Still have a boep though :( if I relax it it hangs over my pants but if I suck it in it doesn't (which it used to I think)

Ha ha it's a start!! :)

Yes well, I've been at it for more than 4 weeks now and I'm a bit jaded about the whole process :(

Four weeks is nothing! It's a great start but don't get jaded. You need to remember it is a change of lifestyle you are trying to undertake not a temporary change in your eating/exercise patterns. Soon it will become routine!

My diet consists of a (fat-free) yogurt smoothie for breakfast, 4 corn crackers with sugar-free peanut butter for lunch, and then a salad, or pasta or wrap for dinner. I also drink 3-4l. of water a day. Not by choice, though :( I have stomach problems that pretty much prevent me from eating anything else.

I would suggest cutting out the take-out food. Also, increase your water intake, it really helps.

Dont even drink diet pepsi. From what I heard the stuff they put in that is poison. Its too much of an expectation to loose 5 to 8kgs in the next 3 weeks. Its too much too soon. Try aim for 500g to a kg a week. Its steady and not too much too soon
