If civil war erupts, innocent people would be in hiding, maybe biological/chemical warfare would quickly get rid of the problem (those fighting and not hiding) with fewer innocent casualties. Just a thought, practically not viable or humane.

Some peopel identify only with their specific race
Others further define that as people belonging to similar religions, cults, sects, or political alignments.

If you can define that term you used, I am sure we could debate that statement.

Our own simply refers to those i prefer to associate with. People that share a similar culture as i do, as enshrined in the constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
Please do debate the statement as i am in serious need of intelligent debate.

With the stinking, rotten, contaminated water most people are forced to drink, would you say that this ANC government is waging biological warfare on it's citizens?

Well, if they have to restore the integrity of the water supplies, how do you think they will be able to afford their luxury 4x4's ?
 
I have friends in Venterdorp. Her entire family do shifts at night(armed) to protect against intruders. They are seriously scared and thinking stuff will go down. It's real sad the way they are living. They were close friends with ET.

That's all I wanted to know. Of course I have been raised with the instruction and the hope that we do not attack our own as well, but that hope is a far cry from reality. When I refer to our own, I would say I associate myself with fellow country men, in fact, the whole human race. I see no difference in colour, race, creed, religion, belief, gender. However there is one line I do draw , and that is between myself and criminals, especially those who perpetrate violent crimes.

By my definition of "our own", we do seem to attack our own, as much as we don't want it to happen. Then again, by your definition, it is probably a very different case.
