So Telkom messed it up again

Under normal conditions my line runs at 10mbps, about two days ago I suddenly started having disconnections which never happened and my download speeds were horrible.

Checking the router stats I noticed that the Noise margin up and down was at 6.0db and the line only syncing at about 2500. Today it connects but I am unable to open any pages. Looking at the stats again it synced at about 2mbps down and 0 nothing up. Noise margin down is still at 6.0db but up has suddenly gone to -51db. Yes as in negative 51db.

And do you think I can get a Telkom tech out to come and sort this mess out ? I think in their attempts to upgrade the 512kb people they only managed to downgrade me and break my line :cry:
 
I also occasionally have problems with my line where it is fine and then all of a sudden keep getting disconnections etc. I phone them up and ask them to send a technician around. I usually know when I am going to get the phone call from the service tech to say he is coming around or in one case "I am already at your house" :wtf:.

The reason why I know this is because the night before the "expected" call my line syncs and my attenuation is back to where it was.

I then tell the guy when he does call that they have managed to fix it on the exchange side.
