There's always been one glaring mistake with OsX and that's the way it handled searches. You would start a search from a folder and it would automatically default to Search: This Mac. You can now change the default from Finder > Preferences > Advanced :D

And now that I've found it I have to revert back to 10.5 because Photoshop CS3 is broken. :(

LOL that would have been silly considering that there is a fix.

Upgrading does cause issues though which is why I'll do a clean install.

What fix?

BTW - I had to do a clean install because my drive had the wrong type of partition table and I still had this problem.

Oh ok.. so you have it working now?
Yeah - I manually searched and destroyed every PS file I could find - took out most of my adobe apps in the process but it worked. I was able to reinstall a working copy.
Apparently yes after reinstall
Restoring 10.5 from yesterdays backup was my next option.
