For those of us in Durban using Cell C '4g'?

I mean, is this 100 % confirmed? Because no one I tell ( family, friends) believe me.

I did get an sms saying I have 2 gigs when I plugged the dongle in. I would assume this month is counted then?

it has also been confirmed by the people working at the cell c shop in pavilion so i'm taking it as a certainty...(-:

Was told the same in Gateway & questioned the guy about it to make sure i had it clear.
Your 12 month data starts depleting from the 1st of the following month.
The 2GB/5GB thats loaded is free to use till then.

You buy the 8th Oct your plan starts 1st Nov with the free Gb's to use till the end of Oct.
You buy 29th Oct your plan starts 1st Nov with the free Gb's to use till the end of Oct.

Thanks guys, I've been downloading a couple of big files and hoping they were all free. Didn't think to ask them in store until I got home.

Could Mr. Cell C rep here please confirm again, and perhaps also explain why I got the sms saying I have only 2 gigs for this month?

It is simple you took out the 2 gig package - that is why they have allocated you 2 gig of bandwidth to use for the duration of every month - Don't expect uncapped

What they mean is this months 2 gigs does not count to the 12 months out of the package. So in essence this month's 2gigs is free and your 12 months starts next month.

Ah, now I get it! I've only got 2 gigs free for this month. Thanks!
