So.... What's your plans for Armageddon?

Quiet Day today, so I shall continue my planning for End of Days!


As stated, it's a remote location in the desert, but there is a spring that the old Bushmen knew about, a spring where the desert animals go to drink, it does not look like much, but there is flowing water for a few meters , before the stream slides back under the barren ground...

We shall run a pipe from here to the camp, fill up the tanks and purify....

Plenty of work to be done on the old mine buildings that have been weathered....

and we shall have to restore the heated pool back to it's former glory.... we need to braai next to the waters.....

Can beat that..... find a book called The Sheltering Desert, By Henno Martin..... A tale of two Germans that fled Windhoek during WW2 to escape internment, spent the next five years hiding out in the Kuiseb Canyon on the west coast of South West Africa.... ironically, I was reading the book (Third time) last week.....

Tis' a private party, you need to have a major skill to contribute to the cult, er group.

Over the back of this hill, there is an old dump..... and their lies in this ancient dump and old Sikorsky Helicopter...

Meanwhile back to Armageddon.....

Whilst all the chaos and murder engulfs the world, us Desert survivors will dive for diamonds and work the old mines to stockpile our wealth for the coming time of peace......

I got this all figured out.....

I think you okes that decide to stay in the city will not live that long in all honesty...... I will raise a glass of Homemade beer next to the crackling fire that pierces the star studded desert night in your memory!

So a small abandoned myndorpie just off the coast. Google maps will tell us the coordinates.
I hope their will be a armageddon hotel and camping spots to go with the pool.
 
I mentioned to sugar tits that this was a roadtrip that would happen this year and she said fine. Then she saw this book...

Hahaha! How long did that take you?

You will need to stockpile fuel to get here, by my calculations, you will need to refill four times to get here....

When the curtain comes down, I think fuel might be an issue....

As I said, the area is in a highly restricted area.....I am hoping that the local security officials decide to go home and abandon their posts, otherwise we might be doing this the wild west way!

Not long, I typed "Affenrücken" on Google Maps, and just scrolled for about 1 minute until I found that crooked building with those 2 small entrances/toilets on it, the one from your photo.

You might have to let me into your camp unharmed if you want a proper navigator in the unlikely event of you needing to relocate due to an outbreak of an incurable and contagious disease

You have room for a pilot? Someone needs to go and check from time to time whether everyone is dead yet....no better way than by air, high above any potential threats.
