I'm out of cap and can't check for myself ;)

but yea I just started playing Warhammer Online, Its quite cool but I'm always open minded for new games, I did play GW a long time ago and those large 8 man instanced guild fights were my favourite Part!

Sorry to say, no new news yet.

I am also waiting for Guild Wars 2

Dont expect it before middle of next year... I cant wait for it though!! :(

i think they should build a new magic system,, where you can learn and build your own spells,, sort of like customize,, but with much detail, with millions of different pieces to put together, sort of like need for speed and the way you can build your car. but a way to build an create your own spells.

we need games with more about using your own mind and own creations for a true unique game play, that way you can do something in the game that nobody else can.

build something that nobody else has. and perfect it somehow, like after some practice and being more accurate or what ever, means that it has better affect than it would with someone who just picked it up. and not the more u use it the more experience you gain with it and it becomes stronger, you have to be good with it for it too be strong. and it should be a massive process in actually making it.. rather than just throw 2 or 3 things together and bam its done. you should have to spend a good amount of actually crafting the item or spell , potion, what ever like the whole process.

that would be awsome...lol

While it is an interesting idea, it should definitely not become stronger with experience gained... but that's just me

no thats not what i meant, not like a diablo 2 style skill thing...there would have to be certain factors involving the abbility or skill or what ever, that make it stronger,, the better u use it, the more efficiant it is. like,, your accuracy with it, and how much damage you doing with a single blow,

oh i see what you mean now, yes that would be a good idea! Movement will likely play a bigger role (even though its quite important in Gw1 already). I can't wait to see what effect jumping would have on a short earthquake-like move

Interesting points...

That's what I loved about KOTOR 2 - even though it was a SP game.

You didn't just pick up a lightsaber. You literally spent half the game acquiring tools, items, focus lenses, crystals and actual technical crafting skill in order to build your own lightsaber.

Each lightsaber can have it's own look (via crystal colour) as well as its own attributes via 3 different focus lenses and augmentation crystals.

When you finally made your own lightsaber it felt like a REAL accomplishment in the game. You also needed a certain level in your fighting skill to be able to actually equip the thing! Not to mention getting rid of your crappy space janitor suits and acquiring proper jedi robes.

I'm really looking forward to the MMORPG : Starwars - The old republic!

yeah it should'nt be the more you hit someone the more experience you get from killing something with it,, and then applying an attribute to it when you gain a level.....like lets say a sword, if it has a certain wieght, compare it to your strength, and that could determin how fast you can swing it. not just add its wieght to ur packback.

spells could be learned on your own,, and or by others,, not always just buying them added them and then you can use them...with a bit of some thought it can work out very nicely,, i just give a small amount so far on what it could be like. imagine a game where you build your character the way you want it, and not a pick and choose on what the maker wants you to...man it would be awsome.
