Soem serious issues with POST requests on OpenWeb IS Fibre connection

I'm having problems submitting post requests to several websites using OpenWeb's new IS Fibre ADSL (http://www.openweb.co.za/fibre_adsl.php).... The problem did not exist on my previous ADSL account (WebAfrica Prepaid)

Affected sites include sending messages on facebook and several other sites. Sites known not to be affected include torncity and several others.

I get a "Zero Sized Reply" error from my local squid, or a normal "The connection has timed out" error without the proxy. (Firefox 2.0.0.12 under Gentoo)

Does anyone else experience similar problems? I suspect it might be a general IS-related problem caused by something like a misconfiguration on the "transparent" proxy....

Thank you very much for your quick response.

I really hate these issues related to the transparent proxies forced onto users (y IS and SAIX, not the individual ISPs). On the SAIX-based WebAfrica account I had constant gateway timeout errors when accessing userfriendly.
