One of the world’s leading Manufacturers in quality Flooring Solutions has an opportunity for a Software Manager to join their team of experts.

Minimum Requirements:

 Grade 12 Senior Certificate is non-negotiable
 Relevant Tertiary Qualification is non-negotiable
 A proven track record in Software Management
 Excellent communication skills
 Ability to read and write in English
 Good numeracy skills
 Ability to read drawings would be advantageous
 Customer orientated
 Facilitation skills
 Good time management
 Good interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

IT Policies and Procedures:
- Assess and continuously review IT policies and practices against IT best practices and market trends
- Develop appropriate IT policies and procedures aligned to the business needs
- Coordinate the rollout and implementation of IT policies
- Provide advice to business in the area of IT policies

IT Project Management
- Manage assigned projects according to set deliverable and budget
- Compile project plans to ensure successful execution of IT projects
- Provide regular feedback in respect of the status of IT projects undertaken
- Manage project teams to ensure the delivery of agreed outcomes
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure stakeholder involvement and satisfaction

Risk Management:
- Conduct regular Compliance and Risk audits in order to mitigate business risk
- Report on risk and compliance factors arising from audits
- Advise on IT controls and corrective measures
- Monitor the implementation of correction measures
- Ensure that IT risk is continuously reviewed and managed

IT Security Audits:
- Conduct IT security audits on all Financial systems, Access Controls and Authorisation processes
- Implement a minimum IT Control Framework
- Ensure that controls are aligned to the IT control Framework
- Monitor compliance with minimum controls

Quality Assurance:
- Work with the business to understand business requirements
- Source appropriate high quality IT business solutions
- Manage and monitor external IT service providers to ensure a high standard of delivery

Staff Management and Motivation:
- Responsible for the day to day management and motivation of IT staff
- Identify training needs of IT staff
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring to IT staff
- Manage individual and team performance

- Prepare reports as required

Ad hoc Responsibilities:
- Site visits as and when required
- Conduct training as and when required
- Other reasonable tasks given to you
