The down side to Unbuntu & Linux is there is no mobile synchronisation yet for mobile phones to connect to calendars. And even then unless you have a Nokia, you cant sync to anything except Outlook.

But!!! I am looking .... hopefully so , will have a working model for Thunderbird and Lightning to synch to most common phones.

Otherwise Ubuntu/Linux would be the way to go. Micro$ is just costing too much, even now with the R going free fall.. Wont be surprised if there are other cases brought to light ...

How exactly do they figure that there will be x amount of jobs if piracy goes down?

I think it is only a play of words to sound impressive in government circles.

They do an internet search for 'piracy'. They do an internet search for 'jobs'. They then multiply the number of search results for each and that's how many jobs will be created - and that's only people on the internet!
